“Vasundhara” means our natural resources – rivers, forests and fertile land. The lives of farmers, the survival of humanity and the health of future generations depend on these elements. Increasing pollution, unsustainable farming practices, encroachment and deforestation are all putting the planet in danger. Samidha Samarpan Foundation organised a “Vasundhara Bachao Abhiyan” to raise public awareness on this crisis, in which the importance of the planet was explained to the rural population, especially farmers, and proactive measures were suggested for its protection.
